Behind the times...

I'm only just now blogging about New Year's Eve.

Steve and Sarah were in town from England and spent NYE with us. Matt and Stacey and their two girls, Mayah and Sam, also came.

We put Sarah to work cutting up tomatoes for the homemade pizzas.

(Steve just watched. He did a lot of that while he was here...)



Bella was, as always, ever hopeful that something would fall on the floor for her.

The stowaway, Part II

While Andrew was over we went for a walk.

Andrew's trying to keep up with Andy and Bella




Andrew got a hole in his jeans. He wanted to show that off. (For some reason.)


Andy taught Bella to run up slides. She gets really excited when she does it.

Then I got the wild idea that we should run around chasing each other...




And I'm clumsy. So I tripped. And fell...

The stowaway

After Christmas, Andrew came back with us to spend a few days.
Then, the next morning at about 4 a.m. Anniliese and her friend, Kevin, stopped by on their way to Oregon from Massachusetts. They were exhausted and crashed for a few hours. Then we all got up and ate breakfast together.

Then I had to leave because I was see "Dirty Dancing" in Chicago with my roomies from college.

So Andy, Anniliese, Kevin and Andrew hung out.

Later that night...long after Anniliese and Kevin began their trek across country again, Andy and Andrew met up with us at Gino and Bri's condo in Chicago.

Their place is very cool!


Andrew was excited that he could see into other people's condos...
