It's Christmas at our house

At this year's Christmas party, it almost seemed like kids outnumbered the adults.

It boggles the mind

Jenny and I were supposed to see a play but we got snowed out so we stayed in.



Tulsa found a friend in Jenny...


Jenny and I got down into some serious Boggle playing...



Andy entertained us by showing how Tulsa can raise her hand if we ask a question, like, "Who wants ice cream?"


Bella wants Andy to put Tulsa down...

Bella has a sleepover...

Andy's boss and his family went to Spain for a week in early December and we got to watch their dog, Tulsa, while they were gone.
I thought Bella and Tulsa would play together a lot and it would be so fun to watch that we would instantly decide we needed another dog. Instead, Tulsa was homesick and Bella was jealous.

(We also got our tree, so some shots have that in them. It's pretty, right?)

Tulsa is an incredibly clingy dog--she needs constant petting. When you're not petting her, she's putting her paw on you to remind you start again. Bella, who is usually not super clingy, did not like this and would immediately nose her way into the situation.
In this picture, I am making sure that I have one hand on Bella and the other on Tulsa, to avoid anyone feeling like they're loved less...

Of course I couldn't just nap with one dog, so we all piled on the couch...
