Ole!

We had tacos the other night and used our favorite dishes--the one's Andy's mom made for us for Christmas. So exciting! We had to document:





(I'm pretty sure the plates are meant for eating Chinese food--there are chopstick holders and square plates to go with the set--but they have become our everyday dishes.)

Puppy love...

In the mornings we'll come down and find Bella curled up in the dish chair. When we start walking toward her, she immediately flips onto her back for a tummy rub.

Mmm, breakfast...

When I came home from yoga, Andy surprised me with breakfast!


He used a tip from his friend, Jay, (an awesome cook!), to make the bacon in the oven.


And he made us homemade bacon, egg and cheese biscuits (with a side of bird)


He really liked this bite


I couldn't quite capture the same presentation with my bacon, egg and cheese biscuit. The top half of the biscuit rolled off...(Andy thought this was worth of a picture)



And what's breakfast without a good espresso? (For Andy anyway...)


Afterward, Bella got her own piece of bacon. She held it on her nose while Andy walked out of the room to get his camera. She's a good dog!

O brother, where art thou?

My youngest brother, Andrew, stayed with us for a week during his spring break. He went to work with Andy most of the days, playing on the computer and playing with Bella. (Andy's boss was on vacation, so they had the place to themselves.) One day he went to work with me. (I don't think he had as much fun since he couldn't log in to his favorite computer game there.)

Back at our house he had fun stealing Bella's favorite chair:


One night Bri, Gino and Jenny came over for dinner. Later we played Pit, and Andrew showed off his more humble side after a win:
